Accommodation
Day One, Day Two - MOREMI CROSSING
Moremi Crossing, set on an island surrounded by the floodplains of the Okavango Delta, promises a luxurious stay, outstanding game viewing and an unforgettable experience. Accommodation is in 16 tents, all outfitted for luxurious comfort and boasting private decks, perfect for relaxing with a book or for some armchair game viewing. The style throughout is simple but focusing on excellent service and the camp is eco-friendly, using the latest in solar technology to supply required power. The communal areas comprising the dining room, bar and guest lounge are shaded by a large thatched roof and within in this space guests will find plenty of private places to relax. The swimming pool, also with a shaded deck area, provides welcome respite from the heat of the day. Days are spent on guided bush walks, gliding through the permanent water channels of the Delta on a mokoro boat or drinking in the fabulous sunsets on a motor cruise.

Day Three, Day Four - PLANET BAOBAB
With all the ambiance of an adventurous outpost lodge, Planet Baobab is an oasis of warm, welcoming hospitality offering a night’s accommodation en route to the Okavango Delta that you won’t forget. You stay in comfortable, traditionally-styled Bakalanga huts with en suite showers and enjoy Pan-African cuisine around the fire in the open lelwapa.

Day Five, Day Six - CHOBE SAFARI LODGE, KASANE
Chobe Safari Lodge is ideally situated on the banks of the Chobe River in Kasane with fantastic, easy access to game drives and river cruises in the Chobe National Park. With its African-inspired design and décor, this tranquil retreat offers a magical lodge experience to match the spectacular game-viewing. The concept restaurant features the indigenous and rich flavours of Africa, with generous and scrumptious buffet lunches and dinners on offer. Watch the African sun go down from the famous Sedudu Bar or the Cocktail Bar overlooking the Caprivi floodplains.

Health
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from travelers over 1 year of age arriving within 6 days from infected areas.
Vaccination against typhoid is advised.
Malaria risk, predominantly in the malignant falciparum form, exists throughout the year. The risk is highest from October to May.
Bilharzia (schistosomiasis) is endemic in the north and east. Avoid swimming and paddling in fresh water - swimming pools which are chlorinated and maintained are safe.

Clothing
Lightweight cottons and linens and rain wear for summer. Warmer clothes are needed for winter.

Day One - Depart Maun
On arrival at Maun International Airport you will board a charter flight to the Okavango Delta.

Day One
Enjoy a short charter flight to your lodge in the Okavango Delta. Considered one of Nature's masterpieces, the Okavango Delta offers an insight into one of Africa's truly great wildernesses. Protected by the Moremi Game Reserve and numerous private wildlife concessions, the Okavango Delta is home to huge numbers of elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo, giraffe and zebra.

Day Two
Spend a full day relaxing and enjoying this beautiful oasis that creates a haven for Africa’s most celebrated wildlife. Alternatively enjoy optional & for own account activities such as mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, bush walks and boat cruises.

Day Three - Arrive in Maun
After breakfast, board a charter flight to Maun.

Day Three
From Maun the journey continues to the endless, white salt pans of Botswana. The shimmering salt pans of Makgadikgadi along with the Nxai Pans are believed to be the largest in the world. The pans are the remains of a once ancient lake that now forms part of the route of Southern Africa's largest remaining migration. During the rainy season the pans are one of the most important wetland areas in Botswana, coming alive with water birds and great herds of game.

Day Four
Explore the Ntwetwe Pan with a local guide that will explain the incredible adaptations of the species that are unique to the Kalahari Desert environment. Discover the surrounds in search of bat eared foxes, ground squirrels and other unique desert species and learn of their incredible struggle against the elements of Africa's harshest wilderness. Get up close and personal with a resident gang of habituated meerkats (weather permitting); see how these incredibly social, superbly adapted animals interact with each other and their environment.

Day Five
After a breathtaking experience in the Makgadikgadi, it’s time to continue to Chobe. Travel through the small village of Nata. This area is well known for its cattle farming and approximately 75% of the residents are from the Basarwa Tribe, also known as the Bushmen or San. Not far from the village is the Nata Bird Sanctuary - a community project with some 165 bird species recorded in the area. Continue via a route referred to as the 'game drive route', as there is always a possibility of seeing wildlife along the way.

Day Six
Enjoy a thrilling morning open vehicle game drive in the Chobe National Park, the second largest in Botswana, known for its superb game viewing all year round, as it has one of the largest populations of game on the African continent. Join a breathtaking afternoon sunset cruise, in search of magnificent wildlife sightings.

Day Seven
After breakfast transfer to Kasane Airport for onward flight.

Twenty-five percent (25%) of any tour price is due and payable on booking the tour. Final payment is due and payable 30 days before departure. Bookings made within 30 days of departure must be accompanied by full payment.

CHILDREN DISCOUNTS are available for certain tours. However, specific restrictions apply. Please enquire when making reservations.

Cancellations shall only be valid if received by Springbok Atlas in writing and the following penalties, calculated as from the date of receipt of notice, shall apply:
45-31 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE : 25% (twenty-five percent) of the price contracted,
30-15 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE : 50% (fifty percent) of the price contracted.
14 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE DEPARTURE : 100% (one hundred percent) of the price contracted.
